    Baobab Tunisia, a reference institution in the microfinance sector, has been able to evolve in five years of operations and to establish itself in the sector as the leader among the new microfinance institutions. A ceremony was held on November 2, 2019 to celebrate this milestone event for the institution, in the presence of the staff, shareholders and partners of the institution in a festive and friendly atmosphere.

    The institution currently has 18 agencies spread from north to south namely; Tunis, Ariana, Ben Arous, Ezzahrouni, Béjà, Jendouba, Kef, Siliana, Kasserine, Sidi Bouzid, Gafsa, Tozeur, Djerba, Gabes, Sfax, Sousse, El Fahs and Nabeul. This network of agencies reflects the concern of Baobab Tunisia to financially include those excluded or poorly served by the traditional financial system and to be always closer to its customers in order to offer them quality services through a tailored product offering to their needs.
    Through its network of agencies developed as well as its 310 employees dedicated to the realization of its mission, of which 63% are women. Baobab Tunisia has more than 20,000 clients, 40% of whom are young, while maintaining a customer satisfaction rate of 90%.

    An offer adapted to the needs of its customers
    In addition to conventional loans, mainly manifested by the Machroui loan, up to 40,000 dinars, for existing activities and allowing them to strengthen their stock, the acquisition of new equipment, the guarantee of working capital . The IRADA credit targeting young project holders from 18 to 35 years old. It is a comprehensive program aimed at supporting young people in their business creation projects. The Dirassa credit of up to 6000 dinars, allowing microentrepreneurs beneficiaries to finance all the costs of back to school and schooling of their children. The Foussoul credit, a flexible agricultural term loan adapted to farmers who have a fluctuating income and allowing them to benefit from credit repayment terms according to the seasonality of their project.
    Afar credit a credit for improving living conditions of up to 6000 dinars, aimed at the loyalty of its customers over a year, allowing its customers to finance a need for punctual and exceptional money.
    In the coming years, Baobab Tunisia plans to focus on the specific needs of its customers, particularly with the Imtiyez credit, intended for SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) ranging from 20,000 to 40,000 dinars to enable them to balance their financial structure. through the investment, the renewal of their equipment or the reinforcement of working capital. As well as the Karhabti credit, up to 40,000 dinars intended for entrepreneurs to finance a new vehicle for the needs of their business, with the possibility of having total funding without personal contribution.
    In the coming years, Baobab Tunisia will continue with its innovative strategy for the development of new products, in particular with a wide range of microinsurance products, in addition to the one already offered by Baobab with the aim of guaranteeing the continuity of activity and protect the subscriber's family in the event of a claim.

    The institution intends to pursue its ambitious development strategy, particularly with the opening of new agencies to serve the entire population. The objective of Baobab Tunisia is to include through its services the majority of entrepreneurs, mainly those of the most isolated areas of the country.
